Life such a beautiful word isn't it. We are consumed by this word each and every single time of our life doesn't matter if it's physically or verbally. Well at some point of time we come to a very sad part and that's death. Sad isn't. We just cannot imagine that a person in our life is supposed to be just going away. Someday that your body is going to get withered. After all the series of journeys, you're just going to get vanished. Everything that you're doing right now, each and every story that you're creating right now are just supposed to vanish. But do you really think that we are really no more after we die? What about the energies that we possess? What about all the chemicals and all the electrical impulses and all the electrical energies that you have inside of you right now.
So apart from the body that we get to see and feel every time there's this energy inside of us that actually makes it function. We take food in the form of energy and that energy is used in our every physical exertion - be it talking, walking, even thinking. So we constantly burn that energy inside of us which makes us function. Even biologically we need to be at that temperature 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit to function. So whenever we die that burning of energy inside of us stops and our body temperature drops and which is why a corpse or a dead body is cold compared to the living ones.
Our universe is a closed system and our planet being the open system, we are always exchanging heat and energies. So it's not like after we are dead all the energies are just getting wasted or they are just lying in vain. No, it's not. Its just been converted from one form to another. I hope you remember the first law of thermodynamics. it says energy is neither created nor destroyed. It just gets converted from one form to another. So your energy is just getting transformed. It is not getting wasted after your body is been cremated. After you're dead all the fungus and the decomposers and the bacteria as you call them, they are taking up all the chemicals and all the electrical energies that are inside us and some of it is getting converted into heat and other forms of energies which are further in later processes being exchanged in the universe and our planet too.

And this recycling of energy also gives us a good reason to take care for our environment because we have got this tendency to be reckless in using the resources of our planet Earth thinking that it's going to be the future generations who will have to suffer but the fact is you too will have to suffer. Because you might not be here. You might not have this body till then but the energy that was inside of your body will be embodied to something else in that point of time. Maybe you'd be in a tree. Maybe you would be in some other bacterias or some kind of other organisms. So thinking that you won't have to face the consequences of your deed is utterly absurd. So be little thoughtful and insightful when it comes to using the resources of our planet earth and yes again death is nothing but the recycling of energy, changing of forms or body. So if you ever feel anxious about your own death or feel anxious about the death of your close ones just remember that energy can neither be created nor destroyed. You are here you are like an immortal being may not be a body but definitely, your energy and this might help you cope up with the with this existential dread. This article was co-written by my friend Parky check out her blog - Foxspeech
