Sex Psychology - Why Sex is so Pleasurable?

So let's talk about sex. why sex is so pleasurable? Why it is so exhilarating? Why it shakes us like an earthquake when we think of it and erupts like a volcano when we actually do? Why it shudders us and gives us goosebumps whenever we drench ourselves in the ecstasy of sexual desire? Why despite such an exponential growth of technology which has unfurled and controlled almost every minuscule and colossal entities of the biological world, sex remains beyond our control? Why there's so much of why and why when we talk of sex? Why we want sex?  I mean think about it, isn't this crazy to have millions of things around us in this vast eternity of universe and yet it is the interaction of two genitals which give us that extreme exquisite pleasure. Why the sensation of our lover's the skin excite us? why we moan and groan in the euphoria of that impermanence which dissipates with the ejaculation?

As Paulo Coelho says in his book Brida, when mankind was closer to God sex was the symbolic means to communion with the divine, a re-encounter with the truth. Sex literally hijacks us from this material world and transcend us to some kind of parallel universe, a utopia where there is no sorrow, no worry, no dwelling on past or future, where every single cell of our body burst out with rapture to the symphonies of this Carnal orchestra which ultimately gives a cathartic orgasm. So whenever we have sex it takes us closest to what we really are an organism a living organism and animal - two hinds two limbs animal literally. We take off all the masks of vanity from our body. Every clothes, every jewelry, makeup, every shred of human decency that veils this divine creature. We get in the form the way God created us - naked, bare, vulnerable - ready to savor the taste of apple from the Garden of Eden literally.

And the reason I think sex is so pleasurable is that if it is not we won't have one. If it is not for that temporary blissful joy, we won't even bother about it and thus risking the continuation of Homo sapiens, our own existence and that's why I have this visceral kind of feeling that sex is one of the divine purposes. God wants us to have sex because it ensures the existence of its species. So have sex but be safe
