The light of hope faints when the candle is forfeited for lightening the darkness. When the wind is parried from blowing its charm and when a bird is caged for chirping its harmony. The moment a creature is restrained from forming its true form, it loses the very sole purpose of its livelihood.
Aaron Swartz was certainly a kind of creature, a human being who wanted to free us from the deadly jaws of a hoggish system. An American computer programmer, entrepreneur, writer, political organizer and Internet hacktivist, who used his life to make the world a better place but it seemed like the world wasn’t that better to accept the change.
Aaron Swartz was very intuitive to his inner calling, and this was the real threat to the ugly face of Govt. In 2008, Swartz founded Watchdog.net, “the good government site with teeth,” to aggregate and visualized data about politicians. In the same year, Swartz downloaded about 2.7 million federal court documents stored in the PACER.
On January 6, 2011, Swartz was arrested by MIT police on state breaking-and-entering charges, after connecting a computer to the MIT network in an unmarked and unlocked closet, and setting it to systematically download academic journal articles from JSTOR. Sadly, Aaron Swartz chose to end his own life on January 11, 2013, when US gov connivingly charged him with 35 yrs of prison and 1 million dollars fine for eleven violations of the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act.

Equal access to Knowledge for every Person
The foundation of freedom is laid by the bricks of knowledge and the knowledge is “Freedom is not given to us, it’s our right.” Aaron Swartz wanted to aware people about their rights. He wanted to make this world equal and balanced, may not be economically but knowledgeably, where every person has equal access to information on the internet. He raised his voice against privatization on the internet and it is at its point his life started to shrink to death. He was a Troublemaker
Something is dooming our world to it’s extinction. Something is eating us, gradually making us naked and hollow. It’s nothing than our acceptance of evil and breach in our society. We have settled on the things for which we should be questioning on.Aaron Swartz was very intuitive to his inner calling, and this was the real threat to the ugly face of Govt. He Fought for what he Believed in
Everything we do has a reason for why we act and it carries our belief, but most people’s believe wears thin when confronted with the reality. Aaron was stubborn. He fought for freedom to knowledge, regardless of the system’s structure. He wanted to bring back all the public’s information on the web from the jaws of private corporations so that everyone can have equal access. Swartz’s work focused on civic awareness and activism. He helped launch the Progressive Change Campaign Committee in 2009 to learn more about effective online activism. In 2010, he became a research fellow at Harvard University’s Safra Research Lab on Institutional Corruption, directed by Lawrence Lessig. He founded the online group Demand Progress, known for its campaign against the Stop Online Piracy Act. At one point, he singlehandedly liberated 20 percent of US law.Build Book Reading Habit With Kindle - https://amzn.to/2PQiAef
He was not Business minded
Aaron was not on the way to cash in on his skills. He could have been like Bill Gates or Mark Zuckerberg making billions of dollars, but it was never about money. He wanted to use his life in unfolding the truth of the corrupt system that perishes the normal people. He just didn’t fit into the corporate culture. He was even fired from Reddit (social bookmarking site). The right word for him will be “Anomaly”. He was here to revolutionize the world for greater good.read more why Che Guevara became a revolutionary
He wanted to make this world a Better Place
It’s we who choose the govt to rule, so it’s on us to make the rule, But things have gone upside down. Govt treat us as if we are merely the puppet in their hand. They are guzzling the juice of our life and thickening their cushion. But it won’t be possible for them if nature keeps sending the saviours like Aaron. We may no longer have Aaron around us, but his legacy will still fight to liberate us from the claws of the horrendous system.!! Being a Netizen, Take a moment and Thank the Hero !!
