What can we learn from Rumi's mystical Poems

There can be nothing as pleasing as reading Rumi’s words in a hushed-up ambiance of self-exploration. It’s a solace for wobbly souls. It's like a relic of love to delve us back again to the astonishing and miraculous nature that created us.
He transcends us to the dark and undrawn space, a space where silence sounds and darkness lights. He tinders our soul to lighten and uncover it’s utmost desires. To me, Rumi is that ray of hope which infatuates me to cross the entire ocean of life with just a shred.

Rumi lets me know who I am

I am always besieged with the thoughts of my creation, who am I? Why am I here? Where have I come from? , till I don’t tune to Rumi’s mystical poems. He makes me understand that I am a divine covered with muscles and skin and beneath that skin, a soul resides who has every answer I am searching for. Everything I am seeking is seeking me. I am the sole owner of this universe.
And the most precious of all from the Rumi’s closet is that this world is nothing but a dream. Do not fear to be odd, do not fear to different because even in the worst, you will just wake up laughing at the things which horrified you the most. So Shine like the whole universe is yours.

Rumi calms me down

When my agitated spirit becomes the prisoner of my body. When I am reduced to mere an Identity. When so much of injustice insidiously burns me down, Rumi comes as an oasis to pacify my searing pain.
He sets my spirits free soaring high in the sky, sympathizes for the wreckage of my body and tells me that our body is here to serve the soul. It’s a temporary shelter for our noble soul. Don’t get attached to it. Our soul has set on an infinite journey. Don’t let the body stop that drive.
Moreover, all the pain and suffering has some precious lessons to share with you. Don’t run away from the pain. The surest way to go to hell is to run away from hell.

Rumi gives me new Hope

Every once in a while, I let life win over me, let it bury me deep inside where I don’t get to face the truth. Let it take me to a deep sleep intending to never wake up again and the moment I close my eyes scared of everything, Rumi wakes me up.
He shakes my soul, bewilders me with the fact that it goes on. The soul lives forever, it’s immortal. Closing your eyes won't make your soul blind. The soul is a divine energy. It’s way more than any vision or other senses our body has. Don’t let your body lose the boon of being alive. Don’t sit in despondent instead get up and fight every odd.

Rumi gives me a better understanding of Love

What is love? Who is a lover? Can I look up to the people around me to help me define love, certainly not?
For Rumi, Lovers are extremist. If one is not extreme is not a lover. Lovers can’t be moderate or lukewarm. They are boiling with an intense passion for each other. Love resurrects us with new life and purpose. It takes us beyond the edge.
Unfortunately, the divine love has now been reduced to mutual benefit schemes. People use love for self-benefit, be it physical, social or monetary. We need someone like Rumi to come again and teach us about love before the world falls apart.

He was a messenger sent by Divine

Every once in a while there are some people who come and save the world from falling apart. Rumi was one of them. He was like an incentive for every human to be human. His broadened view of the universe has emboldened us to fly beyond the horizon. His sprinkles of love have fostered every lover.
Rumi is long gone, but I can never get over what he makes me feel. I can never get over how he makes me poised in a bane.
To shrink his towering psyche to a sentence, I would say “He is the sublime of the Human race.”
