So in these past couples of days, I have been stumbling upon this idea of music and its importance in our life. What sort of contribution music has in our life? What do we get listening to a beautiful track? Why do we get drenched with emotions when we listen to a romantic song even when it is just certain vibrations of molecules that propagate through air and bangs our eardrum? How does this even succeed in inducing those enzymes in our brain that makes us feel happy or sad?
Well if you ask me I don't know. I don't know actually. You know although we have a scientific explanation to this, I don't think music is something that can solely be explained on a premise of scientific research which is just as old as we human beings. Music goes beyond that. You know the melodies have been here since the genesis of the universe. The very first atom that exploded and created this universe. The sounds of that big bang are still resonating in the outer space. The sound of the clashes of stars and the scattering of meteorites in that early phase of the universe when it was molding itself as a womb to nourish life like the one we have on this planet earth. Oh! God, I wanna tap into those tunes. I wanna feel those sound waves. You know we are Stardust as Carl Sagan says we are literally made up of those vibrating molecules that were discarded in that explosion. We have music within us.

In fact, we are born singing. The shrilling cry of a newborn baby, the loud roar out of exhilaration to be born in this astonishing world. The cries to seek tenderness and love that makes a mother's smile. I'm talking about that song. You know every single cell in our body is a note of a symphony that created this universe and that's the reason why we have such a yearning desire for music. That's the reason why we get transmitted to spaces and stars and heavens when we listen to a romantic song because that is where we belong - among the stars. It's sort of completes our existence. It's like Narcissus seeing its reflected image for the first time and falling in intense love with it thinking who's this beautiful man. As the man was no different, music is no
different. We are music, music is us. it is part of us.
