Human beings have put an immense amount of time and effort in replicating nature. Every discovery and invention and art is nothing but to show our self-reliance- to prove that we don't necessarily need to rely on nature for everything. We can build things of our own, though, inspired by nature but it's our own creation, by our own mind and hands. The four wheels car, the two wings airplane, the artificially intelligent robot are few of the exemplary creations that we take pride in- that makes us think that we might have mastered over mother nature but the fact is we have not and we are not even close to it. and it can never be. Nature is an elegant form of beauty, a supreme form of art painted by the hands of I-don't-know-who but certainly, the human beings can never possess those hands and one of the beauties of nature that we can never find an alternative of is rain. "BAARISH," that's what we call in Hindi in India.
Why is rain so charming to some people? why is it that that person no matter how upset or disappointed is will at least smile watching raining? We all know how amazing it feels to see sky dressing up in dark clouds hiding the Sun beneath it. I mean, the sound of thundering and lightning and rain drops is like an orchestra played by nature. All of a sudden, there is a kind of commotion in the deserted sky. A cool breeze starts blowing all over, taking away all the dead leaves of the trees. Birds crisscrossing the sky to get back to their abode. Everything kind of halts for a moment. We stop where we are. It's like a break from our monotonous life. Perhaps, its a kind of speed breaker in this rat race which we all are trapped into. We get to revel in this marvelous beauty of nature. We get to reflect back upon our own existence and get to understand that happiness might not be in the things we are chasing, but it is in this incredible nature, the nature that we don't need money to buy for or we don't need to work round the clock to achieve it. All we need to do is sometimes take our time to appreciate it and that's what rain lets us do.

I think it's not always sane to go around wearing a raincoat or holding an umbrella or be under a shade when it rains sometimes you need to let go of these precautions and get wet. Let those little water droplets touch your skin and drain away all your sorrows and pain.

Remember making those paper boats as a kid and setting it off in a drain or playing in the mud and getting dirty. With every single raindrop our every vestige of childhood memories is revived making us feel bit nostalgic. And no matter how old we are now, you get to be that child again every time it rains. The rain is like a shower for the mother nature, cleansing itself of every dust and pollution. Making itself fresh again for all of us to live. Everything kind of paints anew and like our surrounding it does clean our mind too by settling down all our dust of sorrows and remorse, helping us get a farsighted view in our life.
