So the transformation of an early hominid wandering around in the savannahs of Africa to sitting in a couch putting weight and entertaining itself with digital age gizmos is so significant that I won't have a second thought in putting it forth that no other species on the planet earth have gone through such a remarkable change in the course of its evolution as we have. And one of the things that attribute to this astonishing change is the desire to wrap ourselves up. but I think the word desire would be too fancy to state the truth. It actually came from the fear of being threatened by the external environment. So the inception of dressing was with the sense of necessity.
So in order to protect our delicate naked body, we wrapped it up with leaves and twigs and thus embarked on a perennial journey of glamorizing human body with clothes and accessories. As years rolled on, here we are in the age of fashion. In the age, where we have so much of varieties and options of clothes that sometimes we get confused with what we should clad ourselves or how we should dress? And more often than not, it leads us to the fear of being judged by other people. What should I wear to fit in? What they will think? How society will perceive? As if we are been inspected by the people around us. Will it raise any suspicion? The fear of being stereotyped with certain kind of dresses or stigma attached certain kind of dresses clouds our mind.

So all these nonsensical questions start to suffocate us within our own dress. From the fear of being threatened by the external environment to the fear of being judged by our fellow human beings is enough of a change we have come around for cladding ourselves. In our time, a dressing isn't just about protection. It's about the expression of your emotions and values and your thoughts It's about who you are and your freedom and dressing according to someone else's perception is like diminishing the freedom. To be forced to dress up in a certain way is like being ceased of the liberty to form your own identity and celebrate your uniqueness. Dressing is a very personal choice. Not all of us love covering much of our body or exposing much of our body. It's a very personal issue. it should not be anyone else's concern.
