What is that thing that compels such persons to get out of their comfort zone? One of those few people was Ernesto Che Guevara, the Marxist icon of Cuban Revolution. Che's life was all set before his instinct was radicalized for a noble cause. Here are 5 reasons which changed Che forever and made him a revolutionary.

He was searching for a meaning of Life

Che was born in a middle-class family where he was brought up in the same fashion as every normal kid. He completed his schooling and went to college and took a medical degree.
Along the smooth side of his life, there was a lot going inside him. He was restless and looking for the purpose in life. He was a voracious reader and loved reading books of serious authors like Karl Marx, William Faulkner, André Gide, Emilio Salgari and Jules Verne. He was even passionate about poetry.

Travelling showed him the Truth

Che always had an adventurous spirit. He loved traveling and hiking. Che put his medical degree on hold and set out to travel the Latin America with one of his friends. They wanted to explore all those territories that they knew only existed in books.
This journey had a profound impact on Che and changed him forever. Travelling showed him the real face of the world. He was radicalized by poverty, injustice, hunger. He then chose to put his life on the justice of unprivileged people and started a lifelong fight against capitalism and government.

His restlessness and the quest to understand the true purpose of life was over when he confronted the naked truth of the society. He got the noble cause of his life.
He joined Fidel Castro and started to fight against the government in Cuba and succeed and began to expand his revolution to other areas but finally, he was caught in Bolivia and shot to death. Che’s revolution was leading to the towards World War 3 against capitalism.

He was not afraid of Death

People who know the reason for their life never fear of their death. Che knew the reason and purpose of his life, and he was putting all his potential into that vision. A vision where every person is equally treated and privileged.
During his fight against government’s forces, Che always used to lead from the front with his bare chest. He was courageous enough to face any worst situation.
